Asheville Pisgah Christian School is located just minutes from downtown Asheville, NC and from gorgeous mountain views, waterfalls, mountain biking and hiking. Local attractions include Biltmore Estate, The Grove Park Inn, Great Smoky National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

APCS has a wonderful, diverse student body and an incredible team of 11 gifted teachers plus a great support staff.  We need a 1st grade teacher who loves children, is  trained in early childhood education principles, and is skilled in teaching and classroom management.  This candidate must be able to create and maintain a warm, Christ-centered classroom.

A qualified applicant must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who has teaching experience at the elementary level and holds current NAD certification . A knowledge and the practice of 4MAT and Standards-Based Learning in the classroom is preferred. The applicant must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
