Cochise SDA Christian School is seeking a teacher for the 2025 – 2026 school year! The Cochise School is located Bisbee, Arizona. Bisbee is located in historic Cochise County in Southern Arizona. The school is a newer school at a great location in a quiet, rural area where it is affordable to live. The larger town of Sierra Vista is also close to the school and has a constituent church.  The churches and board are very supportive of the school and provide a full-time aide and many volunteers. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus, brings creativity to learning, and loves helping students reach their academic goals! Candidates must be able to effectively manage a diverse range of learners, as well as being willing to grow and learn as a teacher. The Arizona Conference is a leader in Standards Based Learning, and teachers will be mentored in the curriculum. The school has two large classrooms and is located on several acre. There is room for growth. The school facility has a garden, a greenhouse, and a separate building that could be used for a STEM Center.

Minimum: B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary certification or able to obtain. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.  The Arizona Education Department does not move teachers from overseas or fully sponsor teachers working on a visa status. The ideal teacher would have experience working in either a small school or a one-room school. The school staff and board work wonderfully together for continued school improvement.
