Columbus Adventist Academy, located in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a dedicated and passionate teacher for the 1st grade to join our team.  Successful candidates will create a positive and nurturing learning environment that fosters our students' academic, social, and spiritual growth.

Responsibilities:

 Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and Christian values.

 Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and respected. 

Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents in a timely fashion.

 Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall mission and vision of the school

. Participate in staff meetings and other school events as required.

 Communicate effectively with parents, students, colleagues, and school leadership to ensure the success of all.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education or related field

Valid NAD certification or teaching license

Experience in teaching elementary school students

In good and regular standing in the Seventh-day Adventist teachings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth

Must be eligible to work in the USA
