Miami Union Adventist Academy is looking for a dynamic, creative, energetic, Spirit-filled educator to join our team in the great city of North Miami. The winning candidate will be responsible for teaching Math for grades 9 – 12th, be a class sponsor, offer tutoring to students as needed, participate in extracurricular activities, and be an active participant in our staff worships, outings, and meetings. 

You will also have other responsibilities such as supervision and recruitment activities. Miami Union Adventist Academy is supported by many constituent churches, a committed school board, and a passionate conference office eager to see a change in the Miami area. We are faithfully committed to Adventist Education shown through excellence and commitment to the vision of the school’s administration.  You will work with a group of dedicated educators who are looking to welcome a new member to the team. 

MUAA has a history of strong academic performance. The winning candidate will need to be able to not only teach but also enhance our English program as we join our efforts with other colleges and universities. Also, if interested, must show your ability to work in a differentiated, project-based, and higher-level thinking classroom. You must also be able to work towards helping our students in mastery as they prepare for the ACT and SAT exams. An undergraduate (or higher) education degree is required. All candidates must be currently eligible to work in the United States and be fully certified to teach the subject area.
