About: Meadow Glade Adventist Elementary School located in North Clark County, Washington—serves over 300 students in Kindergarten through grade eight. MGAES provides a family-oriented Christian atmosphere and we are intentional about developing students who are serious about their studies and living out their faith from a Biblical world-view.

Position: We are looking for bright, creative, hardworking individuals to fill an opening for a primary/lower grade level teacher.  The individual is a Godly person who wishes to make a positive difference in student’s lives, as we show them how to walk in the steps of Jesus. The teacher candidate(s) is collaborative--working on a grade level and school teams, and has superb communication skills with parents, students, and fellow staff members.

Minimum: The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher. Possess a valid denominational certification for elementary grades, as well as be eligible for a Washington state teaching license. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. Experience: Successful teaching experience, and NAD certification with the appropriate endorsements preferred; with strengths in: differentiation for a diverse learning population, Standards Based Learning, with the ability to integrate PBL and experiential learning into the classroom, consistent and positive communication with students and parents, adaptability and flexibility, a well-managed classroom that fosters active student engagement in critical thinking, expression of ideas, curiosity for learning, and respect for others, and a love and passion for teaching and Christian Education.  Teaching experience in the primary/intermediate level is desired.  The successful candidate for this position will be part of an experienced team of teachers who enjoy working with each other and thrive on the challenges of working with high school students.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
