Columbus Adventist Academy located at 3700 Sunbury Rd. Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic 10th-grade math and science teacher to join our team beginning August 1, 2025. The ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching and a strong background in both High School math and Science.

Responsibilities: 

-Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Math and Science at the High School level.

-Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning according to the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Education System.

-Assess student progress and provide feedback to help students achieve academic success.

-Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students

-Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

Qualifications: 

-Minimum bachelor's degree in education specializing in teaching high school math and science.

-Valid teaching certification in Math and Science

-NAD certification

-Previous experience in teaching Math and Science at the High School level, preferred

-Strong knowledge of 10-grade Math and Science curriculum standards

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
