Ozark Adventist Academy in Gentry, AR
Southwestern Union Conference | Arkansas-Louisiana Conference
Description

We seek the best in their field to join Ozark Adventist Academy.  Could that be you?

The beautiful campus of Ozark Adventist Academy, established in 1924 as a secondary Adventist school, is located in Northwest Arkansas, “The Natural State.”  Within 45 minutes of campus are 2,500 miles of mountain biking trails, kayak, and whitewater rafting, and thousands of acres within state parks for camping, hiking, and backpacking.  The corridors of Bentonville, Rogers, and Fayetteville (home to the University of Arkansas) are within a 35-minute driving distance for shopping, dining, and numerous activities.  For those seeking a bit more adventure or an urban center for more options, OAA is three and a half hours from Kansas City, Oklahoma City, and Little Rock and within six hours of Dallas/Fort Worth and St. Louis.  Southwestern Adventist University and Union Adventist University are approximately six hours from the OAA campus in opposite directions.

Furthermore, what makes Ozark Adventist Academy a desired place to be is less the location (although that is a bonus), but the opportunity to be part of the amazing vision and mission that was adopted in the summer of 2024.  This coincided with the celebration of the first one hundred years of secondary education on the campus of Ozark, setting the trajectory for the future of the academy.  The expressly stated purpose of all those at OAA is to educate spiritual champions, focusing on the threefold success in each student related to academics, character, and discipleship. It is the desire for every student to graduate and move on in life connected to Jesus, reflecting Jesus, and excelling intellectually.

If you are up to the challenge of excellence as a professional, we want you.  Our high standards for each student are also met by every staff member.  Excellence Expected is more than our internal motto; it is what we strive for every day.  God desires it, our students deserve it, and the parents demand it.  We provide an environment that fosters excellence while also giving tools, resources, and consistent encouragement to do your best. Most importantly, the OAA experience fosters a student’s connection with God ever-present.

Visit ozarkacademy.org to learn more about OAA and to see if you are up to the challenge to be the best in your field while serving at a school that has a vision and a plan to lead the way in Adventist secondary education within three years.  If your answer to that challenge is yes, we want to hear from you.
