Position: Junior High & High School Teacher

Subject Areas:

• Junior High Advanced Math
• High School Beginning Computers
• Junior High & High School MakerSpace and Robotics

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Teaching Certification from the NAD or able to obtain one
• Strong background in Mathematics and Computer Science Principles
• Experience or interest in hands-on Makerspace activities and projects
• Passion for creating engaging, project-based learning experiences

Responsibilities:

• Teach Junior High advanced math classes, fostering a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
• Guide High School students through introductory computer science concepts, including digital literacy and foundational coding.
• Facilitate an innovative MakerSpace/STEAM environment where Junior High and High School students can explore creativity and critical thinking, create, and become knowledgeable with robotics and hands-on projects.
• Teach High School Bible Class
• Other school-related duties as assigned
