Indigo Christian Jr. Academy is a kindergarten through eighth grade elementary school located in beautiful Daytona Beach on the east coast of Florida. Four classroom teachers provide instruction to an enrollment of about 60 students. The school is located on 10 beautiful acres with the Daytona Beach SDA church. The church is a growing and very supportive church family, and the school is also supported by the local AdventHealth Hospital. 

ICJA has an immediate opening (beginning January 1, 2025) for a fifth and sixth-grades teacher. They need a dedicated, caring, dynamic teacher who is a team player, creative, and who loves children. Applicants for this position must model Christ-like behavior and attitudes which will positively impact students in leading them to Christ.

Applicants must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church members in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification with a minimum of a bachelor's degree is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). Successful classroom and administrative experience are preferred. Must have a service-oriented attitude, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work with students and families of diverse backgrounds.
