Description

Bass Memorial Academy, an SDA boarding high school in Lumberton, Mississippi is seeking applicants for a History Teacher.  The history teacher is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical growth.  The teacher is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success.  Applicants must have a strong desire to mentor young people and a willingness to serve others.  This is a full-time, salaried position that includes teaching World History, US History, plus one additional class.

Required Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in History with secondary endorsements in History, should possess, qualify for, or be willing to take the necessary coursework to receive NAD certification, should have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
