The Health and Physical Education department at Walla Walla University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to begin September 1, 2025. The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Health Science, and Sports Management & Coaching.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Teaching health science, health promotion, physical education theory, and activity classes.
• Involvement in scholarly activities related to the discipline. 
• Departmental and university committee memberships, advising students, and involvement with professional organizations.

An earned doctorate in a Health or Physical Education related field is preferred with an exceptional record of excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will be a Seventh-day Adventist dedicated to integrating faith with teaching, leadership, and scholarship.

Salary range: $52,101 to $82,929, commensurate with teaching experience and education.
