Morristown’s Lighthouse Christian Academy is seeking a teaching principal for lower or upper grades.  Morristown is located in northeast Tennessee approximately one hour from Knoxville, Gatlinburg and the Tri-Cities.  The area has a mild climate with beautiful seasons, lakes, streams and majestic views, a lower cost of living, medical facilities, and a wide variety of recreational and cultural arts activities. The local church is highly supportive of the school, its students and its staff; the church is very active, running a variety of programs such as Pathfinders and Adventurers, nursing home ministries, choir and string ensemble, and many more. The facility includes two classrooms, a library, kitchenette, gym, a garden area, and an outdoor playground.  This two-teacher position is open to a Seventh-day Adventist teacher who has a high spiritual desire and aptitude to train students in Christ following the educational blueprint revealed through the Spirit of Prophecy. Effective teaching and rapport with students and parents should be highly valued by the teacher. Bilingual candidates that speak Spanish will find it useful in communicating with a few families. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask are necessary for this multifaceted position. 

Minimum: B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary certification. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Georgia-Cumberland Conference offers all full-time teachers the option of 10 or 12-month remuneration. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
