Grades 1-2 Teacher

Niles Adventist School in Niles, MI
Lake Union Conference | Michigan Conference
Description

Niles Adventist School is hiring a multigrade teacher for the 1st and 2nd grade classroom for the 2025-2026 school year.  The teacher is someone who is organized, establishes and maintains classroom guidelines in accordance with school policies, holds students to high standards of academics, character, and Christ-like behavior while being flexible and nurturing to each student's individual circumstances and needs.  NAS faculty and staff function as a cohesive team lifting each other up and serving God through service to one another, our students, and the church community.  Faculty participation in school activities and events is expected throughout the school year.

Niles Adventist School is a K-8 school located in Niles, MI close to Berrien Springs and Andrews University. The idyllic country setting and beautiful surrounding area offer countless opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast.  Larger cities like South Bend, IN and Chicago, IL are close enough for convenience without intruding upon the wooded campus setting.

They hold current SDA teaching certification/credentials and preferably have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of elementary teaching experience.

If you feel the Lord is leading you to serve in the Niles community please send your current resume and four references, one being your current pastor to the Michigan Conference Education Department, Girlie Aguilar at GAguilar@misda.org.

Interviews and hiring may take place earlier than the posted resume due date.
