Sandia View Academy is searching for a full-time Mathematics Teacher who is committed to the mission and message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is passionate about ministering to young people. The position will begin in the 2026-2027 school year.
The selected individual will be responsible for teaching a full teaching load of mathematics courses. The ideal candidate will be relational, inclusive, and professional. He/she will create a Christ-centered classroom environment that is engaging and makes learning math exciting.
Other school responsibilities will also include being a class/organization sponsor, serving on committees, attending weekly staff meetings, and any additional duties outlined by the principal. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is willing to be part of a wonderful, supportive school community.
Sandia View Academy is in the rural village of Corrales New Mexico, walking distance from the Rio Grande. We are within 30-minute driving distance from Santa Fe ski resorts with a lot of opportunities for outdoor activities in the surrounding area.
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in the field of study (master’s degree and experience preferred) along with a secondary NAD teaching endorsement in math. Candidates need to be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church in good standing and have the legal right to work within the United States. Position will be open until filled.
