North Shore Adventist Academy is searching for a dedicated principal educator who desires to be a part of an active school and church. We seek a Christian administrator to lead a team of 5 teachers and approximately 65 students in a K-10th grade Jr. Academy. This position also includes teaching some of the upper-grade classes.  The team is flexible and can work with a person's strengths in the subjects taught.  We are located in the heart of Northern Chicago. This location offers rich opportunities for exploring arts, culture, and educational venues. 

The ideal candidate should be a spiritually mature, active Seventh-day Adventist Church member committed to providing high-quality instruction from an Adventist Christian perspective. The perfect candidate can relate to young students, provide a safe and nurturing learning environment, possess a growth mindset, and inspire students to honor God. The candidate should be a spiritually mature, active Seventh-day Adventist Church member committed to providing high-quality leadership. Candidate should possess a BA in Elementary Education or equivalent, be NAD certified, or be highly motivated to complete certification.
