Description

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), the Chair has responsibility for the overall operations in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), which includes undergraduate and graduate programs. The Chair maintains the accreditation of the programs, development and maintenance of the evaluation plan, curriculum review, organization of division projects, faculty development, and the self-study report.

Required Experience
  • Doctorate degree in CSD or a doctorate degree in a health-related field, leadership, or education with a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Associate Professor.
  • License/ eligibility to practice Speech Language Pathology in Michigan.
  • Three years of experience practicing Speech Language Pathology.
  • Five years of college teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated scholarly activities.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
