Chair-Population Health Nutrition Wellness

Description

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), the Chair has responsibility for the overall operations in the School of Population Health, Nutrition and Wellness (PHNW), which includes undergraduate and graduate programs. The Chair guides the accreditation process of the programs, development and maintenance of the evaluation plan, curriculum review, organization of division projects, faculty development, and the self-study report.


 

Required Experience
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PhD/ DrPH in Public Health/ Nutrition or a doctorate degree in a health-related field, leadership, or education with a master’s degree in public health or nutrition sciences.  
  • Associate Professor.
  • Five years of experience in Public Health or Nutrition.
  • Five years of college teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated scholarly activities.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with accreditation of Public Health/Nutrition.   

  • Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
