Campion Academy, located in Loveland, CO, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Girls Dean to lead the residential life program for female students. The Head Girls Dean is responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive Christian environment that encourages students' spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth. This leadership role requires a strong commitment to the mission and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and includes oversight of residential life, mentorship, and administrative functions.
Residential Life Leadership:
• Serve as the primary leader for the girls' dormitory, ensuring it embodies Christian principles of respect, integrity, compassion, and love.
• Develop and enforce dormitory rules and policies rooted in Christian values to foster a safe and spiritually uplifting environment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to disciplinary or behavioral concerns, incorporating principles of forgiveness, reconciliation, and restorative practices.
• Oversee the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of dormitory facilities in collaboration with maintenance and support staff.
• Plan and implement spiritual, social, and recreational activities to build community and strengthen students' Christian faith and connections.
Student Mentorship and Guidance:
• Provide spiritual mentorship to female students, encouraging personal devotion, prayer, and Bible study.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development through regular check-ins and active engagement in their lives.
• Mediate conflicts and offer pastoral care to students dealing with challenges, ensuring a loving and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with school chaplain and parents to meet the needs of individual students holistically.
Administrative and Supervisory Duties:
• Oversee and support the assistant dean and dormitory resident assistants to maintain a unified and effective team committed to the mission of the school.
• Develop policies, procedures, and schedules for residential life, ensuring alignment with the mission of the Rocky Mountain Conference and Seventh-day Adventist values.
• Maintain accurate records related to student attendance, behavior, and spiritual growth while safeguarding confidentiality.
• Collaborate with administrative staff and faculty to integrate residential life with the school’s overall mission and academic program.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, pastoral care, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience:
o Proven experience in leadership or student life roles in a Seventh-day Adventist educational or ministry setting.
o Demonstrated ability to lead residential life programs and mentor adolescents in alignment with Christian values.
• Personal Attributes:
o Strong personal commitment to the beliefs, values, and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
o Ability to manage conflicts and foster a positive environment using principles of reconciliation and love.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary and benefits are based on the denomination’s wage scale policy for 10-month employment and will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
