Ephesus Junior Academy is located in beautiful Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in the heart of the Piedmont Triad, serving the greater Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point areaThe school enjoys a prime location approximately 90 minutes from Raleigh and Charlotte and just a short drive from the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains, offering the best of city access and natural beauty.

We are seeking an educator who views teaching not simply as a profession, but as a calling to nurture hearts, minds, and faith. The ideal candidate will 

  • Build positive, supportive partnerships with parents, recognizing families as essential partners in a child’s education
  • Work collaboratively with the school board, church leadership, and constituency, contributing to a unified and mission-aligned school community
  • Communicate openly and respectfully, fostering trust and a family-like school culture rooted in service and mutual care
  • Using technology as a tool to enhance learning rather than replace relationships

Required Experience

Master's degree in education or a related discipline is preferred.  A minimum of 2-3 years of successful school leadership experience.   Current denominational or State certification required.  Active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist church who is mission-minded and desires to grow the school through passionate and energetic interactions with youth, share. Willing to embrace the administrative growth mindset of the Conference; Must have the legal right to be employed in the USA.   A letter of interest and resume should include at least 3-4 professional references with their phone number and email addresses.
