Niles Adventist School is hiring a part-time Kindergarten teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking a teacher who is organized, establishes and maintains classroom guidelines aligned with school policies, and holds students to high standards of academics, character, and Christ-like behavior. The ideal candidate is flexible and nurturing, meeting the individual needs of each student with care and understanding.
At NAS, faculty and staff work as a supportive and cohesive team, serving God through their dedication to one another, their students, and the church community. Participation in school activities and events throughout the year is an integral part of the role.
Niles Adventist School is a K-8 school located in Niles, MI, near Berrien Springs and Andrews University. The school’s picturesque country setting offers numerous opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, while larger cities like South Bend, IN, and Chicago, IL, are within easy reach, providing convenience without detracting from the serene wooded campus atmosphere.
We look forward to welcoming a dedicated teacher to our team who will embrace our mission and serve our students with excellence and compassion.
The ideal candidate will be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing, committed to modeling Adventist beliefs, traditional Adventist lifestyle values, and standards. Candidates should hold current SDA teaching certification/credentials and, preferably, have 3 to 5 years of elementary teaching experience.
If you feel the Lord is leading you to serve in the Niles community, please submit your current resume and four references (including one from your current pastor) to the Michigan Conference Education Department, Attn: Girlie Aguilar, at GAguilar@misda.org.
Please note that interviews and hiring may take place before the posted resume due date.
