KSDA is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate teacher to create a positive and nurturing learning environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sharing Jesus with students.  The school uses a departmental approach highlighting the individual teacher’s interests and giftedness to address student needs.  The exact teaching responsibilities will be coordinated with the other members of the K-8th grade team.   

KSDA shares a campus with Puget Sound Adventist Academy which has grades 9-12.  In grades K-8 we have approximately 110 students.  Our student body is very diverse and contains many multilingual students.  The school has separate teachers for music and PE, so those courses are not taught by the homeroom teacher.  KSDA has a number of local constituent churches who are very supportive of our school community.    

KSDA is located in Kirkland, WA right next to Northwest University.  Kirkland makes its home on the shores of Lake Washington offering stunning views of Mount Rainier.  Outdoor adventures such as hiking, kayaking, snowboarding and much more are at your fingertips.  From the ocean to the mountains, along with a temperate climate, you will fall in love with God’s beautiful creation here in western Washington.

Salary Range - Standard NPUC Salary Scale - $46,644 - $59,900.  Due to this being a high cost of living area, an additional cost of living allowance is given in accordance with residence location.

Bachelor's degree in teaching with teaching experience. US work permit required.
