Greeneville Adventist Academy (GAA) is praying for God’s leading in finding an NAD certified principal for our beloved school.  We pray that God’s Spirit will lead you and us in a way that His will is clear and our coming together will be a God – story. 

 

GAA typically serves 75-100 students in grades K-12 with seven teachers and a full-time principal.  The school is located in beautiful northeast Tennessee in the town of Greeneville.  It is within 45-60 minutes of Johnson City, Knoxville, Asheville (NC) in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and is only 2.5 hours from Southern Adventist University. GAA has a reputation for a strong spiritual environment, sound academics, missions, and a vibrant music program. The applicant should value a strong relationship with Jesus, modeling and believing in a traditional Adventist lifestyle, values, standards, and is a community builder and ambassador for the school.  The position requires an individual with good organizational and communication skills, follow-through, team spirit, excellent teaching skills, security minded, and a love for youth.  Applicants with secondary math or other endorsements are advantageous to teaching one to two classes.  To discover more visit https://www.mygaa.org.

Required Experience

Minimum: B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary certification. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Georgia-Cumberland Conference offers all full-time teachers the option of 10 or 12-month remuneration. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
