Cottage Grove Christian School is seeking a dedicated Grades 1-8 Teaching Principal for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. Located in the charming, All-America City (1968, 2004) of Cottage Grove—just 20 minutes south of Eugene-Springfield—Cottage Grove offers a vibrant community with local eateries, live theater, and outdoor recreation along the Cascade foothills. Known as the "Covered Bridge Capital of the West," Cottage Grove is home to six historic covered bridges, including the last remaining covered railroad bridge west of the Mississippi. We are looking for a faith-driven, personable, and organized educator who is passionate about teaching, leadership, and fostering a Christ-centered learning environment. As the Teaching Principal, you will inspire students, partner with parents, and collaborate with a dedicated school board and supportive church community to help our school thrive.  A PreK/K teacher is on staff, and our teacher/principal typically instructs 12 to 18 students in grades 1-8.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and current NAD Elementary certification, or willingness to work toward such. The ideal applicant will have multigrade teaching experience and have some familiarity with or training in standards-based learning. He or she must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.
