Campion Academy, located in Loveland, CO, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Dean of Men to join our team. The Assistant Dean will work closely with the Dean to oversee the residential life and well-being of male students, while upholding the school's Christian values. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive Christian community where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities include residential life management, student support and guidance, and administrative duties.

Residential Life Management

  • Assist in the supervision and management of the men's dormitory facilities, ensuring they reflect Christian values of respect, compassion, and integrity.
  • Oversee the implementation of dormitory rules and policies rooted in Christian principles, creating a safe and supportive living environment for all students.
  • Address any disciplinary issues or conflicts that may arise among students from a perspective of Christian love and forgiveness, providing guidance and support as needed.

Student Support and Guidance

  • Serve as a mentor and role model for male students, guiding them in their spiritual journey and personal growth in alignment with Christian teachings.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their spiritual, academic, and personal well-being, offering prayer, encouragement, and support as needed.

Administrative Duties

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student life and residential housing, ensuring they align with Christian principles.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and spiritual growth, integrating Christian values into assessments and evaluations.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities that reinforce the school's Christian mission and values.
     
Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field preferred with previous experience working with adolescents in a Christian educational or ministry setting; a strong personal faith and commitment to Christian values, with the ability to integrate faith into all aspects of student support and guidance; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster Christian fellowship and build relationships based on mutual respect and trust; demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues in a manner consistent with Christian principles of reconciliation and forgiveness.
