Ephesus Junior Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated K/1st grade teacher to join our growing team! Located in a beautiful,  well-equipped K-8th grade building in the historic city of Winston-Salem, NC, Ephesus Junior Academy offers a nurturing environment for both staff and students. You should be able to:

  • Prepare engaging lesson plans that include instructional objectives, planned activities, Biblical worldview integration, assessments, and resources.
  • Incorporate classroom technology to enhance instruction and cater to multiple learning styles.
  • Foster a collaborative work ethic and be a positive team player.
  • Be proactive in presenting a positive image of the school to others and the wider community.

Required Experience
  • Applicants must be active Seventh-day Adventist church members in good standing.  
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; State or NAD certification is preferred.
  • We welcome applications from both new and experienced teachers who are eager to join our team.
  • Experience with integrating technology into the classroom is essential, particularly with tools such as Google Classroom and Promethean board technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
