Big Cove Christian Academy, a Pre-K through 8th grade school, is currently accepting applications for the position of Principal.  Nestled in the picturesque valley of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, and surrounded by the mountains and hills of northeast Alabama, the school is conveniently located just southeast of Huntsville.  At Big Cove Christian Academy, we provide a nurturing and dynamic educational environment for students in grades PreK through 8th grade, with an exciting partnership with Atlanta Adventist Academy, that enables us to offer a high school program (grades 9-12).  The Principal is accountable for the overall day-to-day administration and operation of Big Cove Christian Academy so as to ensure the optimum fulfillment of its mission and mandate, in accordance with the administrative and educational policies of Big Cove Christian Academy, the Gulf States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, and the associated laws and regulations of the State of Alabama. Applicants must have a strong desire to mentor young people and a willingness to serve others.  This is a full-time, salaried position that includes teaching Grades 7-8.  The GSC provides funding for the Principal to have protected administrative time on a weekly basis.
