Pine Hills Adventist Academy invites applications for a dynamic, dedicated educator to lead our combined 3rd and 4th grade classroom. The ideal candidate will be skilled in implementing standards-based learning, differentiated instruction to meet diverse needs, and actively contributes to the spiritual growth of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that meet standards-based education requirements while accommodating the varying developmental needs of 3rd and 4th graders.
  • Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities, ensuring each child can reach their full potential.
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and spiritual growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students to support the spiritual master plan of Pine Hills Adventist Academy, integrating faith development within daily instruction.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices as well as contribute to school-wide initiatives and community activities.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in education; teaching credential required.
  • Previous experience teaching elementary grades with experience in a multi-grade setting considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of standards-based learning and differentiated teaching techniques.
  • Commitment to the philosophy and values of Adventist education, with experience contributing to and supporting spiritual objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a strong rapport with students, parents, and faculty.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide proof of such.
