Position Overview: Sunnydale Adventist Academy is seeking a dedicated and visionary Vice-Principal to work with the administration team to help lead our institution. This position will also include limited teaching responsibilities.  The ideal candidate will be a committed Seventh-day Adventist with a passion for Christian education and a strong desire to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide spiritual leadership and uphold the Christian values of the academy.
  • Promote service as a way of life and encourage active participation in God’s church.
  • Partner with the administration team to oversee the academic programs to ensure excellence in education.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment for students and staff that prioritizes strong communication.
  • Collaborate with faculty, parents, and the church community to support student development.
  • Implement policies and procedures that align with the academy’s mission and philosophy.
Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Active Seventh-day Adventist membership and attendance.
  • Master’s degree in education, administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably in a boarding school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, staff, and the community.
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to the principles of Christian education.

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
