Description

Harrison Adventist School is looking for a one-room teacher. Harrison SDA School

The Harrison Seventh Day Adventist School recognizes God as the ultimate source of existence and truth. We encourage each student to reach their maximum best academically and personally.

The Harrison SDA School believes that the goal of education is to restore in man the image of his Creator so that the divine purpose in his creation might be realized. “True education means more than the perusal of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being and with the whole development of the physical, mental, and spiritual powers. It prepares the students for the joy of service in this world, and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.” Education, p. 13We believe that every student is endowed with attributes akin to those of the Creator. Therefore, we seek to nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others’ thoughts; loving service rather than selfish ambition; maximum development of one’s potential; and an appreciation for all that is beautiful, true, and good.
