Description

INspire Online Academy, https://inspiresda.org/, is in its third year of operation and looking to add teachers for the Illinois Conference. The hired teacher will be asked to live anywhere in the Lake Union Conference with a good internet connection. The teacher will teach synchronously from home four days a week, with Fridays for planning and possible tutoring.  We are a 1-8 grade school operated by the combined efforts of the Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana Conferences.  This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills; the candidate must be self-motivated. Teachers who are familiar with technology are preferred.  There will be some online training needed before the beginning of the school year. 

 

Required Experience

The ideal candidate should be a spiritually mature, active Seventh-day Adventist Church member committed to providing high-quality instruction from an Adventist Christian perspective. The perfect candidate can relate to young students, provide a safe and nurturing learning environment, possess a growth mindset, and inspire students to honor God. The candidate should be a spiritually mature, active Seventh-day Adventist Church member committed to providing high-quality leadership and instruction from an Adventist Christian perspective. Candidate should possess a BA in elementary education and  NAD certification.
