Description: Advent Ridge Academy is a 5-teacher PreK through 10th grade school serving 50-55 students. We are located on the campus of the San Marcos SDA Church, which is between Austin and San Antonio in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. ARA has an opening for a caring and dedicated multi-grade Teaching Principal to serve as both the school’s Principal and the 9th-10th Homeroom Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers at ARA work as a team and may teach the subjects of their strengths or areas of experience. This gives some flexibility to subjects being taught by each teacher. The ideal candidate for this position will hold certifications in more than one subject area and be willing to also teach a class or two to the 6th-8th multi-grade class according to his or her experience and certifications.
 

ARA is looking for an SDA teacher with a willingness to model our beliefs, lifestyle, values, and standards. The ARA mission is to equip students to be servant leaders by seeking God first.

Experience: The ideal candidate will be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. A B.S. degree and current NAD SDA teaching certification/credentials is required. Experience in teaching multi-grade and in administration is preferred. The candidate must also be authorized to work in the US.
