Maintenance Director – Full-Time

Position Summary

The Maintenance Director oversees the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of all campus buildings and dormitories. This role ensures facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained to support both academic and residential life. The Maintenance Director manages preventative maintenance, coordinates repairs and contractors, responds to emergencies, and helps maintain a secure and comfortable campus environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee routine maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility upkeep.

• Maintain administration building, offices, dormitories, dining facilities, and other campus buildings.

• Conduct regular facility inspections and address maintenance needs promptly.

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.

• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate repairs as needed.

• Manage maintenance budgets, vendors, contractors, and project bids.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and campus standards.

• Supervise maintenance staff and student workers when assigned.

• Participate in staff supervision schedules, meetings, and campus activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or maintenance.

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond effectively to emergencies.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
