Atlanta Adventist Academy (AAA) is accepting applications for a full time English teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  The teacher will be teaching a combination of English 1 & 2, American Literature, and British Literature classes. This position will teach from our Duluth, GA, campus.

AAA is a 9th - 12th grade Day Academy that offers in-person and virtual learning opportunities.  AAA is located in Duluth, GA, with various satellite campuses throughout the east coast and midwest states of the North American Division.

 

Spiritual Requirements

The school is looking for a dynamic English teacher, with a close relationship with Christ, to deliver a strong English curriculum locally and across interactive video technology in a blended learning environment.

  • Candidates must have proven spiritual leadership abilities, a positive attitude, effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • All candidates must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

 

Work Experience

Candidates should have experience teaching English 1 & 2, American Literature, and British Literature.  Candidates must be able to adapt their teaching methods to student learning styles. 

Required Experience

Minimum: BS Degree and current NAD teaching certificate with a secondary-level English endorsement; secondary teaching experience. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
