Yuma Adventist Christian School is growing and is seeking a 3rd-5th teacher for the 2024 – 2025 school year! Currently, the school has 31 students, mainly in grades K-4, with anticipated growth to 40 for next school year. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus, brings creativity to learning, and loves helping students reach their academic goals! Candidates must be able to effectively manage a multi-grade classroom with a diverse range of young learners, as well as being willing to grow and learn as a teacher. YACS is part of the Arizona Conference and is located in the Southwest corner of the state close to California and Mexico. The Arizona Conference is a leader in Standards Based Learning, and teachers will be mentored in the curriculum. Yuma is a growing community with wonderful wintertime weather. The school is supported by two dynamic churches with great community and church involvement.

Required Experience

B.A. or B.S. degree and current NAD Elementary certification or able to obtain. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. The ideal teacher must be willing to be part of a team at YACS. The school staff and board work wonderfully together for continued school improvement.
