Thunderbird Adventist Academy is seeking a high school Science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! TAA is the boarding school for Arizona and has a steady enrollment of 123 students. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus, brings creativity to learning, and loves helping students reach their academic goals! Candidates must be able to effectively manage a diverse range of learners, as well as being willing to grow and learn as a teacher.  TAA is part of the Arizona Conference and is located in the suburbs of Phoenix in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. Phoenix is a large town with many activities to do inside and outside. The school has a wonderful community and conference support. There is subsidized housing for teachers. Thunderbird Christian Elementary is on campus as well. It is a K-8 school with 75 students. The Arizona Conference is a leader in Standards Based Learning, and teachers will be mentored in the curriculum. Thunderbird has a ton to offer to the right teacher. The Science teacher would teach six classes: Biology, (AP Biology), Chemistry, (AP Chemistry), Physical Science and Physics.   

B.S. degree and current NAD Science certification or able to obtain. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. The ideal teacher must be willing to be part of a team at TAA. A teacher with experience teaching high school science is preferred. The school staff and board work wonderfully together for continued school improvement.
