Middletown Christian School, located in Middletown, NY is seeking a Multigrade 1st and 2nd grade Head Teacher for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and energetic educator to join our team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about collaborating with peers, families and in good standing with the Seventh- Day Adventist Church to ensure the academic and spiritual success of our students.
Required Experience
This position requires an educator dedicated to engaging students in meaningful learning experiences while integrating innovative teaching methods and communication strategies.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Legal Authorization to work in the USA
- Background Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (preferable in Education)
- Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to lead and instruct students effectively
- Adaptability in lesson planning and classroom instruction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility, Critical thinking , and Patience
- Proficiency in English
- Professional work ethics
- Experience in working with multicultural and diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Firm commitment to the Seventh- Day Adventist faith and values
- Dedication to high academic standards while addressing the needs of all students.
- Genuine care, concern and love for all students and staff.
