Mile High Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Bible and History Teacher to join our dynamic team. This full-time position serves grades 6–8, providing students with a strong academic foundation while nurturing their spiritual growth.

The ideal candidate is a mission-driven Seventh-day Adventist educator who fosters meaningful connections with students, brings history to life, and models a Christ-centered life. Creativity, collaboration, and a proactive approach to education are highly valued. We seek teachers who inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning while encouraging students in their personal faith journeys.

Located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Mile High Academy is a Preschool–12th grade school committed to developing the whole child—spiritually, academically, physically, and socially. We are blessed with strong support from local churches, the Adventist hospital system, and our wider community. Our mission is to equip students with knowledge, character, and a heart for service.

Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Education or a related field
  • Current NAD teacher certification or willingness to obtain
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Deep commitment to Adventist education and mission
  • Legal right to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policies. 

Base Salary Scale:  $3,357.10 to $5,803.80 per month
