Union Adventist University is seeking qualified applicants for Research and Instruction Librarian. This position develops and provides reference and library instruction to diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, and community visitors, using modalities suited to the individual, classroom, or online environments. 

  • Provides online and in-person research instruction and services to college students, faculty, and staff
  • Assists with interlibrary loan and resource sharing
  • Serves as a liaison to academic programs and other departments
  • Participates in library assessment
  • Collaborates with the Library Director to plan and execute outreach projects and events
  • Assists in collection development ; selecting and cataloging new acquisitions

Required Experience
  • Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United State
  • ALA-accredited Master of Library and Information Science or foreign equivalent required
  • One year of reference experience in an academic library preferred
