Description

Kona Adventist Christian School is a kindergarten through grade 8 school located on the island of Hawaii (Big Island). Our 1-teacher school is supported by two constituent churches, a supportive school board and a Home and School Association.

Required Experience

Kona Adventist Christian School is seeking a Teacher/Principal who is passionate about Adventist education and can balance the demands of being a full-time teacher and administrator of a growing K-8 program. Applicants must have denominational certification and experience in multi-grade teaching. Candidates need the ability to select age-appropriate instructional strategies, sound teaching methods, good communication, consistent planning and follow-through, and a positive team spirit. Practical communication skills are necessary. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with administrative experience and a history of building the school community.
