Job Summary: 

Keene Adventist Elementary School is a preschool through eighth-grade institution situated just south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, adjacent to the campus of Southwestern Adventist University. With a dedicated team of fourteen teachers and twelve support staff, we provide a high-quality educational experience for over 200 students. 

We are currently seeking a Third Grade Teacher to join our school community. As integral members of our educational team, our teachers play a pivotal role in shaping students' academic progress and spiritual growth. The ideal candidate will be skilled in teaching across all core subjects while bringing innovation, creativity, and a positive, caring attitude to the classroom.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction aligned with the Adventist curriculum 
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and spiritually enriching classroom environment 
• Integrate faith and learning while promoting academic excellence 
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs 
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the church community to support student development 
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with parents and administration 
• Participate in school activities, professional development, and staff meetings 
• Uphold school policies, safety standards, and Adventist educational principles 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in [relevant field] from an accredited institution 
• Denominational teaching certification (or willingness to obtain) 
• Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church 
• Experience in [specific field, if applicable] preferred 
• Strong commitment to integrating faith and learning
