Southwest Adventist Junior Academy (SWAJA) is currently seeking a qualified, certified, and passionate English Language Arts Teacher to join our growing team for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students in a nurturing, faith-based learning environment, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.

Located in Dallas, Texas, SWAJA is a thriving PreK–8th grade academy with a reputation for academic excellence and faith-based development. We are expanding our upper-grade levels, beginning with 9th grade in 2025–2026 and adding one grade each year thereafter.

Currently, SWAJA offers a dynamic learning environment that emphasizes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and features a unique Aviation Program for students. Our certified teaching professionals deliver high-quality education in a Christ-centered, nurturing environment.

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master's degree.
• Certification: Valid teaching certification is required. 
• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

• Submission of relevant educational diplomas and certifications.
• Professional references (minimum of 2).
• Commitment to uphold the mission and values of Southwest Adventist Junior Academy and Southwest Region Conference.
