Northern Ohio Adventist Academy (NOAA), located just outside the vibrant city of Cleveland and one block from the shores of beautiful Lake Erie, is seeking a dynamic and Spirit-led Lower Elementary Educator to join our dedicated team of Christian educators. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing school community that is deeply committed to nurturing the spiritual, academic, and personal development of its students.

Our campus is nestled in a supportive and engaged community of churches, families, and board members who are passionate about Adventist education. NOAA serves a diverse and eager student population in a Christ-centered environment that combines academic rigor, creativity, and faith formation.

We are currently looking for a teacher who brings energy, innovation, and a deep love for Jesus into the classroom. The successful candidate will teach in a multi-grade elementary classroom and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students who are ready to learn and grow.

  • Faith-Based Instruction:
    Model Christ-like character, integrate Seventh-day Adventist beliefs into daily learning, and serve as a spiritual mentor to students.
  • Instructional Excellence:
    Utilize effective, research-based strategies and best practices in teaching and learning, adapted for a multi-grade setting.
  • Tech-Savvy Teaching:
    Integrate current classroom technologies to enhance instruction, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
  • Classroom Leadership:
    Demonstrate strong classroom management skills that promote respect, responsibility, and a love for learning.

    Work closely with a committed team of educators to foster a supportive and innovative teaching environment.

Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Elementary Education or a related field.
  • Eligible for NAD certification or willingness to obtain.
  • A dedicated, practicing Seventh-day Adventist in good standing.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and a willingness to “go all in” as a contributing member of the team.
