Thunderbird Adventist Academy is seeking a full-time and full salary Assistant Boy's Dean who can also teach classes. This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. TAA is the boarding school for the Arizona Conference and has had a steady enrollment of 120-125 students. This is a unique position as most Assistant Dean positions are not full salary with benefits. This position is for the right candidates. The dean will spend two-thirds of their time as a dean and one-third of their time as a classroom teacher. Deans who can teach high school entry level Math or Science courses will receive top priority. Deans who can teach other courses will also be considered. We are looking for an Assistant Dean who is committed to helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus and works with young men in the dorm in character development. We are looking for a teacher who brings creativity to learning and loves helping students reach their academic goals! Candidates must be able to effectively manage a diverse range of dorm students and learners as well as being willing to grow and learn as a teacher.  TAA is located in the suburbs of Phoenix in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. Phoenix is a large town with many activities to do inside and outside. The school has community and conference support. 

B.S. or BA degree and current NAD Math or Science certification or able to obtain one. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. The ideal teacher must be willing to be part of a team at TAA. Someone with experience as a dean or student dean and with experience teaching high school Math or Science is preferred.
