Palisades Christian Learning Center (PCLC) is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Lead Teacher for Preschool (age 2 ½-4) and/or Pre-K (age 4-5). PCLC is located on the campus of Palisades Christian Academy, a K-10 Seventh-day Adventist school in Spokane, Washington. PCLC offers a strong, creative curriculum and is pursuing Early Achievers accreditation. PCLC has a full-time director, and each classroom is staffed by a lead teacher and assistant teacher. Lead teachers are responsible for planning and leading engaging lessons and activities; establishing a positive classroom culture, developing effective structure and procedures, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

The ideal candidate has a degree in early childhood or elementary education and experience working with younger learners. They have effective classroom management that is age-appropriate and aligns with “Love and Logic” principles. They should be mission-minded, committed to PCLC's vision, and an excellent team-player. 

Candidates must be members of the Seventh-day Adventist church and uphold SDA values in all they do. Candidates must have or obtain the legal right to live and work in the United States. They must also have or be able to complete Washington State STARS certification and food handler's certification, have a current TB test, current CPR/First Aid certification, and a portable background check before starting employment.
