Burleson Adventist School (BAS), located in Burleson, Texas, is seeking a full-time, energetic, Christ-centered teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year.

BAS is looking for a dedicated 7/8th grade teacher who is passionate about middle school/junior high education and can help further our mission to educate children for eternity through love, faith, and service to God and man. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Adventist education, a love for teaching, and a commitment to student success. Our preferred candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and classroom management skills, and the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with parents and guardians. Candidates should also be comfortable using technology to enhance learning and must have a heart for guiding students in their academic and spiritual growth.

Burleson Adventist School (BAS) is a Pre-K through 8th-grade school offering a nurturing academic environment in a peaceful country setting. Located in the southwest corner of the greater DFW metroplex, BAS is supported by Burleson Seventh-day Adventist Church and serves the educational, spiritual, and athletic needs of the greater Burleson community. With strong support from the Church and local community, BAS has recently completed significant renovations, including classroom updates, new administrative offices, restroom upgrades, and a new gym floor. The full campus renovation will be completed by next summer and includes exterior building and landscaping improvements. The school also offers a dedicated art room, a full-sized gymnasium, a full kitchen, outdoor playgrounds, and a multi-purpose sports field. 

Minimum desired:

• Bachelor's degree and current NAD certification required.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed.
• Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.
