Description

Lead the SVA Music Department in daily operations, regular departmental meetings, scheduling rehearsals, performances, and tours. 

Uphold Adventist Christian standards with a commitment to excellence in sacred and secular genres.

Direct the large choir and select choir, as well as other choral and instrumental ensembles.

Nurture a vibrant and caring school culture, particularly within the music department.

Cooperate with Recruiting and Admissions to attract, retain, and develop extraordinary musical talent.

Collaborate with Campus Ministries in planning on and off campus witnessing opportunities.

Required Experience

Commitment to Jesus Christ and membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Right to live and work in the United States / English fluency.

Excellence and versatility in sacred and secular music performance and conducting.

Successful experience in education / youth ministry.

Master’s degree, boarding school experience, teacher certification preferred.
