Highland View Academy is seeking a full-time hourly, administrative assistant. This person will play a key role in the daily operations of the school, providing professional and efficient support to the principal, staff, students and HVA community. Highland View Academy is a small, but growing SDA boarding academy located in beautiful western Maryland. Our campus is rural and surrounded by farms, fields and mountains. The Appalachian Trail is very near to campus and there are many other national and historical parks and landmarks nearby. We are dedicated to serving our students and to helping them further develop their characters into the person that God is calling them to be. We have a dynamic, caring, and professional faculty and staff who are a lot of fun to work with. 

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated and a team player who embodies a commitment to relationships and service.They will also possess a desire to serve on a boarding academy campus, previous experience in a boarding academy is a plus. Previous experience in a related position will be beneficial but is not required. We are looking for a candidate who loves to collaborate with staff members and students. The most important quality the ideal candidate will possess is love for the Lord and a desire to mentor young men and women into a closer relationship with Him.
