Gulfcoast SDA School is a kindergarten through eighth grade elementary school located in St. Petersburg on the west coast of Florida. Three teachers and additional support personnel provide instruction to an enrollment of about 30 students. GCSDA has a grades 3-5 teaching position available for the upcoming school year. They are looking for a dedicated, caring, and dynamic teacher who is creative, and passionate about children. Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and already have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree with North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). A minimum of three years of successful classroom experience is preferred. Must be a team player; have a service-oriented attitude; be an effective communicator possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills; and be able to positively engage with students and families of diverse backgrounds, regardless of language, ethnicity, race, or socioeconomic status. Most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.
