The School of Visual Art and Design seeks a full-time professor of animation to teach courses in character animation, storyboarding, and animation production, utilizing both traditional and digital animation techniques. The ideal candidate will possess an MFA degree in Animation or related field and demonstrate exceptional animation skills, with 5 years of professional industry experience. Candidates should have expertise in motion and acting for character animation, with strong emphasis in storytelling, storyboarding, and traditional animation skills. Professional experience in narrative-driven animation projects is essential. Knowledge of current animation software, production pipelines, proficiency with rigs, as well as understanding of animation theory and history are required. The successful candidate will be committed to mentoring advisees, nurturing student learning both in and out of the classroom, and discipling students in Jesus Christ.
