Primary responsibilities include being the primary closer of the store during a normal business week and/or when assigned; to open the store and be the primary manager-on-duty (MOD) on Sundays; to assist in the efficient supervision of all Grocery and Housekeeping staff and tasks in all aspects of each department’s responsibilities; to effectively run a register when needed; to monitor store operations when the Floor Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager are absent. 1. The minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED. A college background is preferred.
2. Minimum 1 year of retail experience is preferred, specifically with merchandising and/or inventory management.
3. A strong personnel supervisory skillset is preferred. If no prior experience, there will be the expectation that it will be learned and performed well in a defined, timely manner.
